Job Description:
JOB PROFILE
- Drawing & process study along with GD & T application to different manufacturing process.
- New product development (NPD), Cost Estimation.
- Feasibility study & understanding Customer requirement.
- Supporting the marketing team in preparing the techno commercial quotation.
- Responsible for costing, estimating and planning projects.
- Responsible for ensuring best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of internal and external resources.
- Implemented T.P.M, T.Q.M and Kaizen for Process/ productivity improvement.
- Work on targets defined in Key Performance Indicators.
- Preparing WPS, PQR, WPQ as per standard.
- Providing immediate support to the clients (OEM’s & Trade) for resolving their issues and complaints.
- Communicating technical specifications, monitoring customer performance in-terms of loyalty, credit, repetitive orders.
- Experience of Sheet metal Industries is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Following Processes:
Cutting - Laser, Plasma, Gas, Shearing, Punching.
Forming - Bending, Rolling, pressing, Embossing,
Welding - MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW & brazing, Robotics welding etc.
Machining - Turning, Boring, Milling, Grooving, drilling, Tapping
Super Finish-Grinding, Honing.
Stress releasing - Hot stress releasing (In Furnace) Cold Stress releasing (Formula 65)
Surface treatment - sand blasting, shot blasting, painting, powder coating, plating.
