Senior Site Supervisor (Finishes) in Pune

Job Description:

Qualification : Diploma in Civil or Any Graduate
Age: 25 to 35 Yr.
Compulsory Work Experience: Preferably 5 to 10 years Experience in Civil Industry [Residential Projects] and Min 3-5 years in Similar Role.
Preferable Work Experience : Preferably 5 to 10 years Experience in Civil Industry [Residential Projects] and Min 3-5 years in similar role.
Compensation : Compensation will commensurate with the experience
Preferred Industry : Real Estate Development

Job Profile expected to be experienced in:-
Access and manage safety hazards in the workplace,
Supervising all the finishing work such as Waterproofing, tiling, aluminium, railing, grill, painting, door shutter work etc.
Instruct worker for coming earlier in the morning at working place.
Observing daily site plan sheet and complete the daily tasks, if there is any requirement to do any modifications as per the availability of resources then discuss it with Jr. Engineer.
Taking all the safety precaution such as, safety of cement from water, safety of worker from electric shock.
Record all the site work day to day with attendance of worker contractor-wise.
Keep the record of all the materials receipts such as bricks, sand, aggregates, cement, tiles, door shutters, railing, grills, paint etc.
Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specifications,
Quality Control in accordance with quality check-lists, quality plans and inspection and test plans, as prepared by the Quality Department,
Supervising and counseling contractor’s supervisors, skilled and un-skilled staff,
Providing data in respect of daily manpower contractor-wise for DPR,
Overseeing the running of 1 residential tower for all finishing activities,
Ensure reduction in material wastage,
Maintain quality excellence,

Competencies Required :-

The knowledge, skills and abilities that would be required in any new incumbent.

1. Language skills - Proficiency in spoken Marathi and Hindi.
2. Relationship skills – ability to build and maintain relationships with a cross section. Patience and perseverance are critical.
3. Should have finished at least 2 towers from start to hand over as a Sr. Supervisor finishing.
4. A positive attitude and willingness to equip and encourage co-workers
5. Excellent communications skills.
6. Established credibility and integrity.
7. Experience in supervising construction projects.
8. The ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary
9. The willingness to accept other job responsibilities as needed.
10. Ability to mediate disputes using the win-win philosophy
11. Ability to organize time, material, and labor
12. The ability to multitask
