Liferay Web & Mobile Developer

JOB BRIEF

 We are lool‹ing for an experienced Liferay web and mobile developer with experience of 5+ years who possesses a passion for pushing web & mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling new requirements for Liferay components and change request in various part of the system which service the
• Excellent analytical and problem—solving skills, strong communication skills
• Developing and implementing front—end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Collaborate with cross—functional teams to define, design, and ship new
• Unit—test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general
• Worl‹ on bug fixing and improving web & mobile —application
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Lead the entire web & mobile application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post—launch
• Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.

REOUIREMENTS

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 2+years’ experience in Liferay Development (7.0 DXP or higher)
• 1+ years’ experience in Liferay portal (7.0 DXP or higher)
• Experience in developing REST API’s in Liferay
• Experience in Client—side scripting technologies — jQuery
• Good understanding of JAVA libraries
• Good understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one common architectural pattern with MVC
• Working experience in Agile Methodologies
• Strong analytical and  problem solving slkills
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Strong focus on web & mobile performance, profiling and debugging
• Aptitude for innovation, working independently and thinking ’outside of the box’.
