Job Description

"SAP Payroll Consultant is responsible for producing solution design, documentation and successful delivery of Payroll (India) with expert attention to all architectural qualities for an effectively working Human Resource (HCM) system. The Senior SAP Payroll Consultant must have extensive experience in configuring and custom development with excellent functional and technical skills. Should be able to work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions (capability consultant), while at the same time; work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.

Role Overview

  • Deliver SAP Payroll implementations as a consultant including:

Manage customer relation on day-to-day basis

SAP payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll

Integration with SAP FI and with Third party FI (Finance)

Experience with year-end activities and support packs implementation

Provide industry best practice on HR/Payroll process design based on experience

Document design decisions

Configure Payroll solution according to design documents

Support all levels of the Payroll implementation

Support customer through testing and payroll runs.

  • Deliver super-user and administration training
  • Prepare demonstrations
  • Manage relation to existing customers

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Implementation Consultant
  • Hands–on experience in implementation, workshops and develop system configuration
  • Participate in incident and problem solving requested from end users (customers)
  • Conduct Initial diagnose to solve incidents, perform functional validation that the issue is relevant and either IT related or process related
  • Payroll exposure and understanding of other countries
  • Fluent English speaker as a minimum
  • Native/Fluent speaker in country of residence

  • Exposure to Employee Central Payroll.
