CTC-3.5 to 5.5 Lacs

IT Administrator Job Profile:

The company is looking for an IT Administrator at its head office in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of IT responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's IT requirements by planning, implementing, and evaluating the various processes, programs, and practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with computers, and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, computer components, etc.) to ensure functionality
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications at corporate office as well as remote locations
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Getting repairs executed by various It hard support centres where ever needed.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Maintain records of all IT Assets in HO and overlook similar record maintenance by it personnel in each factory.
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Knowledge on Apple Mac computers
• Manage company’s email and website domains and their respective administrative duties
• Execute Migration of company email domain and all users, ensuring no loss of data, with help of service provider.
• Maintain EPBX systems to ensure smooth communication and workflow, explore upgradation to IP based telephone system in HO and Kutch Factory.
• Setup cost effective firewall in HO and Gujarat factory to ensure specific websites are not accessible on local network.
• Implement system of regular backups to be taken for all computers.
• Work towards continuously improving company IT infrastructure and system.
• Develop new vendors/ suppliers for company IT requirements.
• Provide Remote support to other company locations where ever needed.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage
