Job Description:
Position Title: Senior Designer (Project Engineer)
Location: Aurangabad
Qualification: BE/B Tech
Mandatory – Knowledge of APQP
Preferred – Experience in product development
Experience: As a designer in auto ancillaries.
Number of Years – 3 to 5
Function – Design, R&D
Age group- 25 to 35
Gender: Male / Female
Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:
- Design & develop new applications/Products.
- Collect technical information from a customer during the phases of development.
- Prepare DFMEA for new products.
- Conduct analysis of new products using FEA tools.
- Propose design changes to improve product quality, reduce customer complaints, In-house rework.
- Maintain documentation for TS16949 in department.
- Propose Value engineering suggestions in current products and new products
- Conduct analysis of new products using FEA tools.
- Team player.
- Knowledge of SAP material management module.
- Knowledge of Product lifecycle management.
Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position: Roles & Responsibilities are as below
- The number of new products developed as per agreed time lines.
- No delays as per the agreed timeline with first time right.
- Work closely with project engineers to complete the design activity for the new product development.
- Benchmarking study for suspension products.
- Value engineering proposals suggested and implemented.
- SAP and PLM system adherence.
Computer/ System knowledge & skills required: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Creo 3 (preferred)
