Job Description:

·         AD / Directory SME, main priorities or should deliver is

  1. Upgrade and migrate AD
  2. General AD support (Admin / Operational / upkeep)
  3. General Okta support  – (Admin/Operation/ Upkeep)
  4. General ARS support – (Admin/Operation/ Upkeep)
  5. General CA directory Support – (Admin/Operation/ Upkeep)
  6. Shell Scripting

 

The Okta, ARS, and CA tools are “nice to haves” coupled with the AD 10-12 years’ experience(upgrading and day to day support).  The expectations are that the candidates have the aptitude to easily learn these tools as they proceed but please do what you can to find candidates who have used these tools.

 

·         Active Directory (enable account, disable account, add, group creation as per policy , remove group membership, change status)

·         Domain Controllers (troubleshooting steps, route tickets)

·         New user account setup (at user’s request create new accounts  - all systems)

·         Termination process (process account termination )

·         User / group account management, access management

·         Apply naming conventions, home directory, group creation as per Policy

·         Ensure all standardized AD fields are populated with accurate information and ensure that the information is updated and maintained continually.

·         Backing up and restoring data

·         Checking event logs

·         Monitoring server performance

·         Setting user and group security

·         Using performance monitor to check the server health

·         Creating user contacts

·         File and folder management

·         Manage user accounts

·         Manage groups

·         Publishing a shared folder

·         Manage computer accounts

·         Manage Domain Name System (DNS)

·         Manage Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol 
(DHCP)

·         Disk Management

·         Handling Incident, problem and change tickets.

·         Participate in project work

·         Managing domain controllers

·         Contribute or core role in upgrade from MS 2008 to MS 2016.

·         Managing CA Directory.

·         Administration and managing OKTA, Single Sign-on provision or de-provision users
