Job Description:

• Domestic Business
  • Direct Calls, Presentations with potential customers in the Indian market (Automotive, Electrical, Domestic, Industrial Segments)
  • Maintaining regular follow up post meetings, post quote submission with potential clients
• Handling RFQs:
  • Understanding the Manufacturing process, reading & understanding engineering drawings
  • Liaison with raw material to obtain raw material prices
  • Follow up with technical staff to determine in house cost of operations.
  • Follow up with tool room or tool suppliers to determine the cost of tooling.
  • Following up with logistics companies to determine shipping & warehousing costs.
  • Follow up with customers on RFQ status.
  • Preparing & maintaining a system for the above
• Customer Interfacing:
  • Responsible for all correspondence with existing customers for Sales Follow Up, Customer Support & Servicing, New Projects Execution & Business Development for new opportunities.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with existing customers to continuously look for new business opportunities with them.
  • Responsible for collecting & acting upon customer feedback, customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Filing & maintaining records of customer correspondence, quotations etc.
• Business Planning
  • Presenting annual business plan to top management
  • Regular monitoring of Business Plan, Presenting Reasons & Countermeasures for Shortfall (if any) in Quarterly B Plan Meetings
  • Resource Planning & Budgeting in line with Business Plan
  • Receivables tracking, payment collection, credit control. And to continuously look at opportunities to improve margin, upward price revisions.
• Logistics Planning:
  • Logistics & Warehousing planning for exports
  • Customer Order Processing
  • Shipment planning for exports.
  • Requires coordination with freight companies, warehousing companies in Europe, U.S.
• Promotion
  • Industry Exhibitions & Fairs
  • Enlisting in Industry Databases
  • Web-based marketing, Website maintenance
  • Advertisements, Corporate Sponsorships, Out of the Box Ideas to promote the company.
