We are searching for a Laravel developer to build web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business. To ensure success as a Laravel developer you should be adept at utilizing Laravel's GUI and be able to design a PHP application from start to finish. A top-notch Laravel developer will be able to leverage their expertise and experience of the framework to independently produce complete solutions in a short turnaround time.

Laravel Developer Responsibilities
• Discussing project aims with the client and development team.
• Designing and building web applications using Laravel.
• Troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.
• Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects.
• Testing functionality for users and the backend.
• Ensuring that integrations run smoothly.

• Scaling projects based on client feedback.
• Recording and reporting on work done in Laravel.
• Maintaining web-based applications.
• Presenting work in meetings with clients and management
• Design, build and maintain innovative PHP applications
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to create compelling user experiences
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, testable, and modular codes
• Design and maintain databases
• Utilize back-end data services and contribute to increasing the existing data services API
• Follow up with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules along with technical and process issues
• Maintain documentation of the entire development process, architecture, and standard components
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Interact with clients via slack, zoom and email
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to general process.
• Work collaboratively to facilitate effective feature development
• Diagnose issues and fix bugs to increase the application performance
• Carry out research, input suggestions for product improvements, and communicate clearly on progress reports
• Work with teams to ensure the product meets all functional and non-functional requirements
• Work on producing clean, readable, and testable code as a priority
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.

Laravel Developer Skills Requirements
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in PHP (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
• Proficiency in common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Excellent knowledge of Core PHP, object-oriented PHP, and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
• Proven experience in writing server-side scripting in PHP
• Experience building factories/facades/libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, and traits
• Hands-on experience in unit testing using testing frameworks like PHPUnit/phpspec
• Experience with RESTful API design
• Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
• Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL NoSQL, query optimization, and Relational databases.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript, Ajax etc.
• Practical experience using the MVC architecture.
• Experience in preparing design specifications/documents
• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle

• Experience with automated testing and building
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools
• Ability to write readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into readable state
• Ability to write well-documented, clean code and maintain the codebase
• Hands on experience in designing and developing micro-services architecture and containers
