Job Description:

Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering from premier institute or BSC in Chemistry with diploma in paint technology.
Experience : 15-20 yrs in the field and has managerial and administrative skill should apply.

Position Overview: Person should be capable of taking overall responsibility of the unit in terms of Productivity, Finances, Statutory compliances, HR related issues, workmen management etc. and should have the initiative and decision making capability to work as the profit center head of the unit.

Place of Posting: Baramati

Responsibilities:
1.Directly deal with all factory staff to ensure that they are properly motivated, trained and developed, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and in accordance with health, safety standards.
2.Schedule and co-ordinate all aspect of production operations, to ensure that output and quality & delivery targets are achieved and that all relevant health, safety standards are observed.
3.Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
4.Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
5.Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the factory.
6.Develop and implement shortand long-term plans to ensure that the factory has the necessary resources to meet business objectives.
7.Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within the factory.
8.Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met.
9.Ensure the QMS based on ISO 9001:2000 is adhered to.
10.Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time.

Key requirements: Drive the manufacturing excellence programs. Ensure delivery of production from time to time & zero customer complaint Drive employee involvement & maintain IR in the factory. Align the site with the long-term & short-term business deliverables. Drive compliance to all statutory and legal requirements at works / plant.

Personal Characteristics: Very high degree of Leadership Skill and an excellent Team player.
Good understanding of Manufacturing Excellence & quality assurance concepts. Excellent Communication skills and ability to deal with statutory and other external agencies. Ability to handle pressure.
