Job Description:

The Enterprise Atlassian Ecosystem Administrator will be responsible for product, solution, and technical leadership with domain expertise in the Atlassian products, solutions, and greater ecosystem and will be charged with the overall management and governance of the Atlassian ecosystem in accordance with all AmeriSave technology and risk management policies.  You will be responsible for the management, configurations, governance and integration of all tools into the Atlassian ecosystem which may include API integrations, custom solutions, and coding.  The Enterprise Atlassian Ecosystem Administrator will also be responsible for leading the Atlassian Governance Committee's Change Management Process and representing the best interest of AmeriSave and the AmeriSave systems which includes strategically thinking about the impacts of any requests and vetting those requests against Atlassian industry standards and best practices while taking into consideration the impacts on overall enterprise agility, metrics, reporting, risk management, scalability, sustainability, manageability, and overall total cost of ownership.  Products used within this ecosystem include Jira, Confluence, Power Scripts for Cloud, BigPicture, Xray, LiveChat, and other related plugins. This position will be responsible for developing or integrating this suite with existing products in use by AmeriSave as well as assisting the organization with creating and getting multi-dimensional granular and rollup reporting on teams, departments, portfolios, lines of business, products, projects, and more.  The position requires a deep understanding of how Jira Software is built and the implications of any change to the system as well as a wide breadth of knowledge related to the integrations of the tool with other applications in the greater ecosystem to include but not limited to CI/CD tools.

 

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

In this role, you will manage and govern the AmeriSave enterprise Atlassian ecosystem.  The
responsibilities will also include developing policies, processes, procedures, maintaining standards and
best practices, creating user guides, providing user training and enablement, and leading the Atlassian
Governance Committee.

  • Accountable and responsible for Atlassian ecosystem tools solution, design, architecture, implementation, and documentation
  • Creation of and ongoing management of the Atlassian ecosystem policies, processes, and procedures
  • Protection of the overall enterprise Atlassian ecosystems scalability, sustainability, and manageability in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Ensure the ability to get quality, reliable data (data integrity) at every level (team, department, program, portfolio, line of business, and enterprise levels)
  • Atlassian ecosystem risk management and compliance
  • Enforcement of all enterprise standards and best practices
  • Atlassian ecosystem demos, training, and user enablement
  • Advisor and go-to lead on all tools within the Atlassian ecosystem for usage, standard methodologies, and implementation
  • Trusted support and escalation point for all users and internal customers
  • Manage the Atlassian Service Desk for any requests for assistance, bugs, reported issues, and change requests
  • Trusted partner to all key stakeholders (Legal, Risk Management, Technology, Development, Business Partners, Enterprise Agility Coach, etc.)
  • Trusted advisor and leader of the Atlassian Governance Committee and Change Management Process
  • Thoroughly vet all change requests against all AmeriSave policies, standards, and best practices
  • Advise key stakeholders, partners, and internal customers on best practices configuration and recommendations to avoid common pitfalls and challenges
  • Thoroughly vet all change requests for all impacts on the ecosystem and risk to architecture, data integrity, sustainability, manageability, scalability, and cost/impact of change
  • Plan, implement, test, document, and communicate all changes
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, administering, and enhancing JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, Confluence, and key 3rd party add-ons
  • Create and manage complex configuration elements including all enterprise templates and their associated screens, workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme, and notification scheme
  • Install and configure 3rd party add-ons, Plugins, and apps to provide enhanced capabilities (Portfolio for JIRA, Structure, Tempo, Insight, etc.)
  • Conduct routine clean up and maintenance of the systems
  • Remove all unnecessary elements from the system to ensure optimal performance
