Role |
The SharePoint developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of all SharePoint applications. He/she will work with Hong Kong development team and SharePoint owner to gather and document user requirements to meet business needs and he/she has to use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement SharePoint applications. He/She has to provide daily support and maintenance for all existing SharePoint applications as well. |

Responsibilities |
- Develops SharePoint application by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with HK development team and SharePoint owner; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy SharePoint solutions. - Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net, VBA and SharePoint 2013 and new 2016. - Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards. - Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. - Provide daily support and maintain all existing SharePoint application (E-Staff, E-Leave, HR system and e-reimbursement…) - Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.

Qualification |
- Degree holder of Computer Science or related disciplines - Fluent English speaking and writing skills

Experience |
- 4+ years experiences developing and implementing enterprise-scale SharePoint application especially on SharePoint Business Intelligence including: o Experience developing custom solutions for SharePoint using SharePoint API, Object Model, web parts web services, workflows, site collections/structure. o Experience with Microsoft SQL/Server and related BI suite o Experience with Microsoft Office products: Excel/PowerPivot, Visio, etc o Experience with SharePoint 2013 with Excel Services, PerformancePoint Service, Business connectivity Service, metadata service. |

Technical Competencies & Personal Traits:
|
- Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures - Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities - Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred - Requires strong Excel data mining skill and reporting skill. - Should have Strong Knowledge and technical working experience in InfoPath Forms and Sharepoint designer workflows. - Should have knowledge and technical working experience in Migration of InfoPath form and Sharepoint Designer workflows to Power Apps or SharePoint Online. |
