Job Description:
- Min one year of Operational experience working in a front of house leisure or retail environment
- Should be confident, motivated, active and alert with a positive attitude
- Effective Time Management and Good Interpersonal Skills
- Computer literate
- Experience of working with children
- Friendly, energetic, and good with children.
- Creative and entertaining – can keep a group of kids captivated for hours
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cash/Credit Transaction handling.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently
- Computer Literate
- Math literate and prior experience in handling a POS system
- Possess a ‘Can Do’ attitude, be positive, enthusiastic and determined
- Genuine love of children and working with the general public
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Cheerful, pleasant, professional and outgoing personality
- Confident and authoritative with ability to deal with children, parents / guardians and staff.
- Flexible attitude to working requirements to meet the needs of the company.
- Meet and Greet Guests (kids and their parents/guardians) and assist them with the various play packages and services offered.
- Promote and upsell various products and services including loyalty schemes, special offers, activities etc.
- Operate the computerized POS system / Cash register and record accurate details of the customer.
- Ensure security of the area by only allowing access to those customers that have booked in.
- Responsibility for cash handling, operating the cash register and following the finance procedures as required.
- Ensuring customers are made aware of all the Rules of Play, Disclaimers, Waivers, Daily activities and any future events.
- Ensuring full compliance and enforcement of the Standard Operating Procedures and Safety procedures and ensuring High Standards are maintained.
- Maintaining a record of transactions performed in a shift.
- Reconciling sales at the end of each shift with cash collected and providing the reports to Operations Manager.
- Assisting floor operations as and when required.
- Understanding customer requirements and delivering excellence.
- Ensure accurate opening and closing procedures are maintained.
- This role entails shift working over evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts across 7 days a week.
