Sr Purchase Manager with a Metal Product Manufacturing Industry for Kutch location

Job Description:

   Looking for Purchase Manager from Steel Industry only for Kutch location

Receiving various requirements of materials & services from the user dept. By way of Purchase Requisitions in SAP & ORACLE.

?            To understand the user requirement & accordingly float the enquiries in the market through E-mails, by surfing net etc. To various OEM’s, Authorized Dealers, Alternate sources & so on.

?            Upon receiving the offers from various vendors, preparing the RFQ & thereby negotiating with the vendor’s.

?            To place the Purchase Orders for the vendor who can supply the said materials/services, timely & at the most competitive price.

?            Follow-ups with vendor’s till the material is not received at site.

?            Receipt of the material in stores and then inspection of material is as receipt as per PO.

?            After material storage at new material receipt location then after GRN creation in SAP.

?            After End user inspection and confirmation receipt GRN processing.

?            After acceptance of the material uploading the same in stock through SAP of ERP.

?            Follow-ups with Stores & Finance for ensuring that the receipt documents with Invoice are accounted immediately in the system & the vendor’s payment is released timely.
