Backend Software Developer - Ahmedabad/Mumbai

We have an urgent opening for the position of Backend Developer for a leading Company for the Ahmedabad/Mumbai location.

Responsibilities:
• Help design, build, document, and maintain the platform
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve the system, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer
• Building Integration of back-end and logic elements with server-side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of optimized, quality, and readable code
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• Clearly articulate the solutions and also get there in the most efficient way

Requirements:
• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software systems
• Previous experience in Angular 7/8, AWS EC2 deployment processes is a MUST.
• Must be proficient in Angular 7/8, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Core Java, Servlet, JSP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Basics of React JS, GIT, Jenkins, Deployment
• Strong OO skills and design patterns knowledge and implementation experience using one or more object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python)
• Good understanding of Agile is a MUST
• Experience building UI components using the latest in web technologies (e.g. Angular 7, Bootstrap, React) and languages (e.g. TypeScript)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs
• Knowledge of the MEAN Stack
• Excellent communication skills that would help in sharing ideas with peers and the senior management
• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Knowledge and experience adhering to software development life cycle best practices including test-driven development (TDD), unit testing discipline, agile development, and CI/CD strategies.
• An ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions.
• A track record of forging strong relationships and building trusted partnerships through open dialogue and continuous delivery
• Domain expertise in the BFSI domain (more specifically Supply Chain Financing, dynamic discounting) is a plus
• Willing to embrace work outside of your comfort zone, and open to guidance from others; you make mistakes, but learn from them.
• Passionate about building quality software and scaling technology to meet the needs of tomorrow
• Writing testable software every day, with a focus on incremental innovation
• Keen to learn about new technologies and business innovations across the industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field required
2. Post Graduate in Computer Science or any related field would be a plus
