Position: Tool Maintenance Engineer
About the responsibilities of the position: The main activity of the Tool Maintenance supervisor is that to assist them in charge for all of maintenance of tools & fixtures.
Reporting to: Head of Tool Maintenance
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in the stream of Mechanical / Production. Or Diploma in Engineering in the stream of Mechanical
Desired Experience: Up to 3 to 6 years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in an Automobile industry.
Skills Set required/Job Profile :
1. Responsible for cost reduction in Tool maintenance
2. Responsible for the new developments in tooling
3. To help Vendors in preventive tool maintenance
4. To coordinate with production teams of the unit as far as tooling is concerned
5. Responsible for maintenance of Jig & fixture parts
6. Responsible for replaceable plan follow up
7. Responsible for training of workers at the shop floor for using tools and fixtures
8. Ensure that production is not hampered for tools and fixtures
9. Maintaining proper record of maintenance of tools & fixtures
10. Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP.
