JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Software Developer (NON-IT)

Reports to: Head Development

1. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Key responsibilities / accountability

• Development of Software in Java and optionally C++.
• Knowledge on Linux Operating Environment.
• Build and Maintain automated tests & software functionality tests.
• Debug and diagnose problems, Maintain Knowledge-base.
• Write technical documentations.
• Review the documentation for the software’s & products.

2. CORE CAPABILITIES

• Hands on Practical Application development using Java Core, Java Beans, Spring MVC, JSP, Apache Tomcat.
• Involved in Design, Develop & Implementation activities.
• Code review and unit testing of the software, modules & functions.

3. TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Very good understanding of OOPS and programming patterns
• Strong in Linux shell scripting.
• Optionally familiar with one (or more) of protocols like: Modbus, DLMS, Mbus, IEC 61850, 60870-5-101, 103, 104, Profibus, DNP3

 4. OTHER SKILLS

• Strong conceptualization & analytical skills while designing & developing multi-protocol software’s.

5. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

MCA or BTech

Work experience

2 - 5 years
